Story
Alludu Seenu (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) and
his uncle Narasimha (Prakash Raj) live their lives by cheating and
manipulating people around them. They plan to escape Chennai from Badami
and end up in Hyderabad accidentally. Seenu comes across local don Bhai
(Prakash Raj) and is shocked to see him look alike his uncle Narasimha.
With the help of Bhai’s PA Dimple (Brahmanandam), Seenu sketches a plan
to mint money by replacing Bhai with Narasimha. In the process he falls
in love with Bhai daughter Anjali (Samantha) and gets to know
Narasimha’s past. What is Narasimha’s past? Will Seenu win Anjali’s love
is the rest of the story.
Performances
Bellamkonda Sreenivas
made his debut and he has been trained well in dances. He shows his
grace and ease in dances and action scenes. He needs to still better
himself in dialogue delivery and expressions. However, as a debutant Sai
Srinivas has scored well.
Samantha is gorgeous
and has done a glam role in the movie. She is ultra glamorous in the
songs. She has nothing much interms of role but has done good job in the
limited scope. Tamanna sizzled in a special item song which is a treat
for masses.
Prakash Raj impresses
in dual roles. Brahmanandam is hilarious as Dimple and Pradeep Rawat is
just okay. Tanikella Bharini, Raghu Babu, Vennala Kishore, Ravi Babu
and others fill the screens in the limited roles offered.

Technical Analysis
Devi Sri Prasad’s musical scores are
peppy and energetic and the songs have been shot well. However, the
songs placement could have been better without hindering the flow.
Chota K Naidu impresses with his camerawork. VV Vinayak does justice
handling the commercial mass entertainer. Kona Venkat penned dialogues
are rhyming. Editing could have been crisp. Action choreography is okay.
Production values of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions are lavish.
Analysis
Alludu Seenu is a routine story told in a
predictable way with right mix of comedy, action, romance and glamour.
The revenge drama gets into predictable mode once the twists gets
revealed and remind us of several other Telugu movies including Gudumba
Shankar, Aadi, Ready, Baadshah, Aata etc.
VV Vinayak played it safe with a
tailor-made launch pad movie for Sai Srinivas to showcase his dance and
acting prowess packing it with comedy rather than opting for any
experiment subjects. Besides Samanatha’s glamour quotient, Brahmanandam
is major asset for the movie making Alludu Seenu work for its comedy
despite the situations is inane.
The second half gets passable with
Brahmanandam’s comedy portions. However, few of the portions could have
been trimmed in the latter half as there are too many action scenes and
songs.
